The Minotaur Project is the main part of the Labyrinth Project and is based on the concept of an eternal search for orientation. Started in 2009 as a series of street art photographs in Mexico City that appear like symbols within a labyrinth. The photographs allow remembering / or locating.
Orientation: The natural search for freedom and the ever-lasting hope of separation from a forced system. For me it is like deciphering codes, for example of a city center based on portraits of people who live and work there (points of unconscious orientation). Finding an important point for orientation (where we feel safe again), precisely through memory.
Daniel Schachter from Harvard University resumed it thus:
„We are memories.“
LOOK AT THE SYMBOLS AND YOU CAN DECODEFY ALL.
