Another part of the entire labyrinth project is the photo series
"Left-Right-Faces". "Left-Right-Faces" also - work in progress - since 1988. A kind of portrait analysis of the emotional and rational facial features, whereby a "new portrait" that has not yet been visible is created by dividing the halves of the face and doubling them.
Creating a portrait that only exists in the subconscious.
The right hemisphere of the brain is the basis for creativity, artistic gifts, insight, and imagination, but is shown in the left side of the face, and is also called the night or emotional face. But the left hemisphere is most people's seat for language, number knowledge and abstract, logical thinking and is reflected in the right side of the face and is seen as the face of the day or mind face.
What is interesting is that when we look at another person, we perceive almost only one half of the face (the right, the day or mind face) and from this a complete face is created in our brain.
