"Expulsion" contains a series of photographs and video installations.
Based on the work of two dancers in the ruines of the first house on American soil of the Spanish conquerer Hernán Cortés. La Antigua near Veracruz in Mexico was the starting point of the conquest of America.
Of this house there survive only fragments of the walls; the roof is completely missing. The roots of tropical trees, the have grown in the many decades over the walls, are the elements that limit the rooms.
If one would not know the history, one would suppose, that the inhabitants were driven out by the plants.
